Brady Ho really went after the pole vault title in last week’s Inland Empire Championships at Murrieta Valley High School.

He came away with a victory, not to mention a school record in the process.

In a classic duel with Eastvale Roosevelt’s Ethan Amata in a battle between a pair of juniors, Beaumont High’s Ho prevailed on fewer misses when the two cleared the bar at 14-feet, 9-inches.

Temecula Great Oak’s Cameron Franklin was closely in contention, clearing 14-3.
