JOHANNESBURG — Mike Courterier said he was happy he didn’t choke with his family on hand watching him this time around.

The Johannesburg-Lewiston senior once again broke the school record in the pole vault during a boys track and field meet Wednesday, one in which the Cardinals scored 142.33 points to take first place in.
