Area athletes wrapped up their track season at four MHSAA State Track meets Saturday.

Leading the way was Constantine’s Wyatt Alwine, who vaulted his way to a state champion in the Div. III pole vault with a height of 14-3.

In other Div. III results at Jenison High School, Centreville’s Tyler Overholt was third in the discus with a throw of 160-0.

The Bulldogs 3200-meter relay team of Michael Hostetler, Gunner Bunning, Tyler Swanwick and Jared Rank was 14th, in 8:49.99, while taking 16th in the 1600-meter relay was the Constantine foursome of Alwine, Guy Topolski, Ian Hulett and Hunter Bacheller with a time of 3:37.05.
