Everyone who follows track and field in Pueblo is familiar with Angelique Urenda’s jumping abilities.

Colorado’s Class 4A girls high jump state champion in 2014, Urenda is now jumping to record heights in the pole vault at the collegiate level.

Urenda has reappeared in her hometown after a three-year absence to complete her college degree and re-establish herself as one of Pueblo’s elite female vertical jumpers.
