COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Michigan State track & field athletes Tim Ehrhardt and Nick Guerrant represented the Spartans at the 2018 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Texas A&M at the Gilliam Indoor Track Stadium in College Station, Texas.
Ehrhardt, a senior from Addison, Illinois, finished in 11th in pole vault, clearing a 5.40m (17-8 ½) height before scratching. Ehrhardt is the only athlete from the Big Ten Conference to place in pole vault. Cole Gorski of Ohio State, the 2018 Big Ten pole vault champion, did not clear a height. Kansas junior Hussain Alhizam claimed first place at 5.70m (18-8 ¼), tying the facility record.
