Welcome to a New Year of Flying in Pole Vault . The FLYIN’ CIRCUS started up the new year at the Hispanic Games in the New Balance Armory Track Center on Saturday….with sensational performances from all 25 vaulters.

Leading the morning session of Boys was Pascack Hills,NJ senior Liam Landau, coached by Ross Koehler. Coming off his fast 23.3 relay split and School Record 800m Relay performance…he flew 15′ 6″ for a new school and Bergen County Indoor record jump for gold. Liam heads to Northeastern University next fall for academics and athletics!!!!

The afternoon Vault section belonged to the Varsity Girls….. with the Circus sweep of the top five places . Both Kaeli Thompson(Warwick,NY) and Sydney Woods(Demarest,NJ) set new meet records with their 13′ 0″ leaps and Abington Heights,PA ..senior speedster..Dani Heine soaring over 11′ 6″ for third place ….Jamie Rossig(Pascack Hills) 10′ 6″ and Genevieve Reilly(Warwick) 10′ 6″ PR !!!
