RENO, Nev. — Former Baylor and Midway pole vaulting star Annie Rhodes-Johnigan finished third in the women’s elite division at the Pole Vault Summit on Friday. The meet is the largest indoor pole vaulting competition in the world, with more than 3,000 competitors of all ages.

Rhodes-Johnigan cleared 14-91/2, a personal indoor record on her way to the bronze. The mark qualifies her for Indoor Nationals on Feb. 16-18 at Albuquerque, N.M.
