LA CROSSE, Wisc. — Hanover College’s Erin Trimpe, a junior from New Palestine, earned the highest finish in Hanover women’s track and field program history for a field event during Thursday’s NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships at Wisconson-LaCrosse.

Trimpe posted a height of 3.65 meters in the pole vault to place 10th overall. She tied for the eighth best clearance in the field of 21 athletes, but due to tiebreakers at previous heights, finished 10th overall.
