Coming back from injuries, Scott Houston and Melissa Gergel won the 11th annual Jammin’ and Jumpin’ Street Vault Tuesday night on the Henderson riverfront.

While Houston was injured during pole vault competition, Gergel was hurt while pursuing other athletic endeavors.

After the 2016 Olympic trials, Gergel took up the winter sport of skeleton, in which the competitor rides head-first and lying face down on a flat sled.
