OLIVE HILL Listening to her heart, Presley Kiser was led to sign with Louisville.
The West Carter athlete picked an unusual path starting with her decision to quit basketball and pick up pole vaulting full-time at a school that did not have a pole-vault pit.
Kiser signed her national letter of intent with the Cardinals on Friday afternoon.
“I am so proud of her,” West Carter track and field coach Ryan Raybourn said. “It just goes to show you that if you set your mind to something and work hard at it, you can accomplish anything.”
