Jenn Suhr set an early-season world record with the first 4.80 vault in December, a great start to her goal of repeating her London Gold in Rio!

Correction from last year:

Flo Meiler of Shelbourne VT traveled to the World Masters Athletics Championships in August, 2015 and broke her own 80-84 World Record (set at Dartmouth last January) with a 1.80 meter vault.

This year the post-college -> 29-year-old women are coming out of the gate strong with 13 women having already cleared bars at meets, and you need an 11’4” jump to even make the top 10.  There are 15 men, so just two more than the women.  Contrast that to 28 men over 30 vaulting already and only 1 woman (Jenn Suhr).

Adam Bragg graduated from Princeton last spring (right? Finished eligibility?) and he opened his post-college career with a huge 5.43 PR (17’9.75) on Dec.11 at Princeton.

Michelle Grecni graduated from Southern Connecticut last spring and is a graduate student at Adelphi in Long Island and opened her post-college career with a 4.15 (13’7.25”) at Southern Connecticut on Dec.11

I’ve got a good calendar put together and posted (pinned post) at the Facebook group “Pole Vaulters – Northeast US Masters & Post-College (New England, NY, NJ,PA) , but I’d always like more (send them in!):
