Notre Dame’s Haley Horvath cleared 11-11.75 to finish sixth in the pole vault at the Penn Relays on Thursday afternoon in Philadelphia.

Horvath, the state indoor champion and first pole vaulter to compete at the Penn Relays from ND, holds a PR of 12-6 and would’ve needed to best that to land in medal contention. Alana Carroll of Averill Park (N.Y.) jumped 12-11.5 to take the title, while the top New Jersey height was cleared by Delsea’s Ashley Preston at 12-7.5.
