Zurich – On August 29, internationally recognized pole vaulter Shawn Barber finished in second place in the men’s pole vault competition in Zurich.

Canadian pole vaulter Shawn Barber cleared 5.86 meters on this first attempt, which was sufficient for him to claim second place. He cleared all of his previous four heights (5.81 meters, 5.71 meters, 5.56 meters and 5.41 meters) on his first try as well. Barber attempted 5.91 meters three times with no success.
