STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — Steamboat Springs High School senior Eric Casey highlighted the weekend in Glenwood Springs by breaking the school record in pole vault, reaching a height of 14 feet, 1 inch to win the event.

Casey, a reigning state champion in the event, hopes to continue as a decathlete in college and currently ranks as No. 4 pole vaulter in the state. He was one of many outstanding performances on Saturday, April 13.
