LA CROSSE – Andrea Krueger (Jr, Menomonie) set a personal record in winning the pole vault crown at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Women’s Track & Field Championship at UW-La Crosse Friday.
Krueger hit a mark of 12-feet, 6.50-inches, one inch over a personal best mark she set last season. She finished four inches in front of runner-up Meghan Howell of UW-La Crosse. Krueger finished second at the WIAC indoor meet in March. This is her first conference title.
