Nikita Philippov has won another bronze medal for the national team of Kazakhstan in men’s pole vault, reports.

In his best attempt, the Kazakhstani athlete achieved the height of 5.50 meters. He tried to achieve the height of 5.60 meters three times but failed. Japanese pole vaulter Seito Yamamoto and American Gavin Kendricks were the ones who achieved this height. But the gold medal went to the American athlete as long as Seito Yamamoto achieved the height only on his third try.

Later on the day of July 11, freestyle wrestler from Kazakhstan Berdakh Primbayev won the bronze medal at the Universaide.

Kazakhstani epee fencers also won bronze at the games earlier.
