NEW ORLEANS – Arkanasas State’s Rahel Broemmel and Lauren Beauchamp each had season-best performances to sweep Sun Belt Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Weekly honors.
Red Wolves’ senior pole vaulter Lauren Beauchamp cleared a season-best 3.92m (12-10.25) in the women’s pole vault at the Joe Walker Invitational hosted by Ole Miss, placing sixth. Beauchamp’s mark ranks second in the Sun Belt Conference and was the best by any Sun Belt pole vaulter on the week.
