EUGENE, Ore. — Oregon’s 2012 Olympians, including gold medalist Ashton Eaton, will be recognized during Saturday’s Oregon-Colorado football game.

Highlighting those expected to attend is Eaton, who set the world record of 9,039 points in the decathlon during the 2012 Olympic Trials at Hayward Field. The five-time NCAA Champion for the Ducks from Bend, Ore., then went on to claim his first Olympic gold medal at the London Games.

Other Olympians with Oregon connections scheduled to appear include 2012 Oregon graduate Brianne Theisen. The seven-time NCAA Champion finished 11th in the heptathlon for Canada.
