Carroll plans to continue her track and field career at Harvard. She is the Section II record holder in the pole vault with a height of 13 feet and has participated in three indoor state meets and two outdoor state meets going into the 2017-18 indoor season.
“Alana is one of the truly outstanding young athletes that I have had the honor of coaching,” Warriors pole valut coach Dick Abbatiello said. “She has been recruited to several Divsion I schools but has chosen Harvard because of the academics and commitment to athletics.”
