Banksy Celebrates The 2012 Olympic Games With Two New Pieces Of Street Art

With the Olympics beginning at the end of this week, everywhere you look there are Olympic branded sneakers, clothing and products available, but how does an artist like Banksy contribute to the games? By making street art dedicated to the Olympics of course!

One of the two pieces is called Pole Vault, looks like an actual athlete doing a pole vault over a real barbed wire fence and there happens to be a dirty mattress strategically placed in front of the piece for the athlete to land on. Call it the “ghetto-Olympics,” if you will.

You can take a look at the two new pieces by Banksy for the 2012 London Olympics in the picture above!
