Blair senior Evan Slominski signed his letter of intent to compete in track and field for Dakota State University on Tuesday morning.
The Bear’s decision to continue his track career into college was straightforward enough thanks to his experience within the sport.
“I’ve enjoyed it basically ever since I started in seventh grade,” Slominski said. “I’ve had success in it, too, so that helps.”
Dakota State is an NAIA school competing in the North Star Athletic Conference. The Trojans are based in Madison, S.D., and coached by Anthony Drealan, who leads both the cross-country and track programs.
