ST. PAUL, Minn. – The College of Saint Benedict track and field team was in seventh place after the first full day of the MIAC Indoor Championships Friday night, but CSB’s shot put and pole vault squads both put together huge performances to help lift their team into the top five.
CSB had four athletes in both events score valuable points to help the team move from seventh into fifth Saturday in the final day of the conference meet at Macalester in St. Paul. Saint Benedict finished with 76.50 points to finish in the top five for the 10th time in the past 11 seasons.
