The Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) administers a competitive grant program to provide opportunities to divert tires from landfill disposal, prevent illegal tire dumping, and promote markets for recycled-content products. The Tire-Derived Product Grant (TDP) Program is a reimbursement grant designed to use TDPs for repurposing projects such as running track surfaces and jogging paths.
