Karsten Warholm again just missed out on breaking the 400m hurdles world record, and Mondo Duplantis had three unsuccessful attempts at a new outdoor pole vault world best of 6.15m.
Sweden’s pole vault world record holder failed on his first attempt at 5.82m and passed on the height when Piotr Lisek went over at the first time of asking.
