FORT WAYNE, Indiana — Greenville’s Landon Kemp was one of seven University of South Dakota (USD) athletes to be crowned champion at Saturday’s Summit League Indoor Track and Field Championships at Lutheran Health Fieldhouse in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The junior and 2017 Greenville High School graduate cleared a winning height of 13 feet, 8.5 inches in the pole vault event, earning her first league title. But it took a little bit for her to realize she actually took first place.
