Dylan Altland of Kingsway, one of the state’s top pole vaulters, has decided to attendRutgers, his coach Christian Lynch announced.
Altland, who has a personal best in the pole vault of 15-2 1/4, won the South Jersey, Group 3 pole vault title last month and has cleared 15-0 or better in four meets this season.
Altland isn’t just a pole vaulter.
He also has a personal best of 6-2 in the high jump, 8.24 in the 55 hurdles, 20-10 1/2 in the long jump, and 37-11 in the triple jump.
