Elks names November Teenagers of the Month

The Alliance Elks Lodge 467 is pleased to announce the selection of November Teenagers of the Month. The students are selected by their respective schools based on scholarship, leadership, character, citizenship, and service to school and community. This months selections are:


Cheyenne Phillips, daughter of Christine Richardson, is a cheerleader and basketball player and member of National Honor Society (NHS) and MAD club. Phillips volunteers at the hospital and plans to study pre-med.

Ryan Miles, son of Randy and Beth Miles, is president of the band and involved in all aspects of the music department at AHS including bands, choirs, and musical theater. Miles has volunteered his musical talent in the community and is a member of NHS, Key Club, Student Senate, and volunteered at the Alliance Parks Department Easter Egg Hunt. Miles plans to attend Kent State University and study piano performance.


Caroline Bogunovich, daughter of Daniel and Deborah Bogunovich, is captain of the cheerleading squad. Bogunovich is a member of Select Choir and Link Crew and is active in her church.

Austen Zemrock, son of Sandy Zemrock, is president of Character Counts and member of Interact, varsity soccer, Link Crew, Environmental Club, SADD, and Teen Court. Zemrock plans to study marketing, finance, and accounting.

West Branch

Pavin Heath, daughter of Dean Heath and Debbie Price, has been captain of basketball and volleyball and a member of NHS, Student Council, and Pep Club. Heath plans to attend Kent State Salem to become an ultrasound technitian.

Ben Fitzpatrick, son of Greg and Lori Fitzpatrick, is a member of NHS and a varsity golf and track athlete. Fitzpatrick volunteers at his church and at Community Fellowship and Food. He plans to attend Akron University and study electrical engineering.


Destinee Green, daughter of Don and Debbie Green, is president of NHS and SADD, vice president of her class, and editor of the yearbook. Green participates in drama, Ecology Club, and Spirit Crew. Green plans to attend Ashland University to study psychology, criminal justice, and social work.

Christopher Clemens, son of Lawrence and Deborah Clemens, is vice president of NHS and letterman in football and basketball. Clemens plans to play football in college and become a physical therapist.


Amy Yu, daughter of Alex and Lore Yu, is a leader in the Louisville bands and a member of NHS and Key Club. Yu participates in track, swimming and cross country, as well as Science Club and German Club. Yu plans to study pharmacy.

Aaron Musiel, son of William and Lorie Musiel, is class president and member of NHS, Key Club, and Student Council. Musiel plans to attend The Ohio State University and enroll in the Naval ROTC program.

Saint Thomas Aquinas

Tara Criswell, daughter of Robert and Kimberly Criswell, is cheerleading captain and member of NHS, Pep Club, track, Right to Life, and Eucharistic minister. Criswell plans to become a nurse.

Daniel Soehnlen, son of Dan and Jennifer Soehnlen, was a state qualifier in pole vault last year. Soehnlen also participates in Key Club, Literary Club, Right to Life Club, football, and swimming. Soehnlen plans to major in English at either New York University or University of Chicago.


Mackenzie Clark, daughter of Bob and Jan Clark, is president of NHS and SADD and also serves as secretary of Student Council. Clark is a member of yearbook staff, symphonic band, varsity golf, and serves as a mentor. Clark was delegate to Buckeye Girls State and plans to study law.

Dillon Dragomir, son of Scott and Sandra Dragomir, has received numerous science and engineering awards including Massachusetts Institute of Technology Excite Award and the Govenor’s Thomas Edison Award for Excellence. Dragomir was a delegate to Buckeye Boys State, a member of Student Council, symphonic band, and SADD. Dragomire plans to pursue a degree in electrical or nuclear engineering.
