Ex-Baylor pole vaulter Rhodes-Johnigan 4th at Drake Relays

DES MOINES, Iowa — Former Baylor pole vaulter Annie Rhodes-Johnigan continues to fly in pretty elite company.

In the women’s elite pole vault event at the Drake Relays on Saturday, Rhodes-Johnigan cleared 14-9 to tie for fourth place overall. She finished behind only Sandi Morris (16-0), Jenn Suhr (15-5) and Katie Nageotte (14-9, fewer misses) — a pair of Olympians (Suhr, Morris) and the reigning USATF indoor champion (Nageotte).
