Philadelphia, PA: Michelle Favre took home the College Pole Vault Championship at the 119th Penn Relays today at historic Franklin Field.
Favre took home the College Pole Vault Championship when she cleared 4.10-meters (13-5.25), beating out NCAA Division I competition. Emily Shipley finished tied for 16th place in the College division of the women’s pole vault when she cleared, 3.50-meters (11-5.75).
The 4×400-meter relay team made up of, Katie Walsh, Chelsea Clark, Rachel Herrick, Amber Updike, placed fourth overall in the College 4×400-meter relay CTC event with a time of 3:59.96.
In the women’s discus College division, Taylor Furman placed 22nd overall with a mark of 42.79-meters (140-4). Alex Appezzato took home a fourth place finish in the College division of the javelin with a 43.37-meters (142-3), setting a new school record.
Gina Germinario, Chelsea Clark, Jasmine Hammonds, Anita Rogers ran in the College Women’s 4×100-meter relay and clocked in with a time of 48.27 in heat number seven.
