If any athlete on Vista del Lago’s track and field team exploded on the scene this year it was Sky Kezmoh.
The versatile sophomore ran the 200 and 400 meters and competed in the long and triple jump, but really made her mark in the pole vault. Her top vault as a freshman was 8 feet, 6 inches. This season, Kezmoh cleared 12-3, and won the Sac-Joaquin Section Masters championship. While she placed 15th at the state meet by clearing 12-0, Kezmoh only finished one bar (six inches) away from the state-winning vault. She clearly has a bright future ahead of her.
