Former Hornet, current Texas A&M pole vaulter Wyatt tops his school record at meet in Arizona

It wasn’t enough for former Hornet and current Texas A&M pole vaulter Audie Wyatt to break one record over the weekend.

Wyatt broke three records after vaulting 18 feet, 8 1/4 inches, to take first at the Sun Angel Classic, held April 6-8 at Arizona State’s Sun Angel Stadium in Tempe, Arizona.

The junior pole vaulter bested the school record of 18-6 1/2, which he and teammate Chase Wolfle shared, as well as the Sun Angel Classic and Sun Angel Stadium records.
