Sophomore Kyley Foster of Detroit Lakes entered last weekend holding both the indoor and outdoor pole vaulting records for the University of North Dakota. Thursday, she bested that outdoor record.
For her efforts, Foster was named the Big Sky Conference Women’s Field Athlete of the Week; it was announced on Monday afternoon by the conference office, for her record-breaking performance in California.
