Franklin Road Academy senior Alex Gales got to feel a familiar feeling Wednesday’s Spring Fling.
The Panthers track and field ace notched a second-straight consecutive pole vaulting championship in the D-II A state championship.
Gales’ 14’6″ jump was good for gold in the contest of eight participants.
His Panthers teammate and fellow senior Brogan Wilson (13’0″) claimed fifth in the contest, and CPA’s Rylee Finucane (13’0″) placed fourth.
