Fredonia State host winter vault clinics

We would like to invite you and your track & field athletes to the Fredonia State University Track & Field Winter Clinics. We will be hosting a series of clinics that will be huge for those looking to improve from where they are, or looking to get started. These clinics will focus on a variety of events from triple and long jump, shot put and weight, to the pole vault. We will go over all drills and proper techniques needed to become successful in the event of your choosing.There are a total of 7 sessions. Each session costs $25 per athlete. Athletes do not have to attend every session.

Tom Wilson – Head Coach Fredonia State Track and Field Cross Country – Pole Vault

Wilson, an FSU Alum, is going into his 14th year as the Fredonia State Pole Vault coach, Wilson’s athletes have had an incredible amount of success at all levels. At the college level Tom most recently mentored 2-time NCAA All-American Broncho Rollins to record breaking performances both indoor and outdoor with an all-time best 16’4.75″. Wilson’s athletes also have both Fredonia State Women’s records and have won 2 SUNYAC Conference Championships. Past Clinic attendees have gone on to win 2 New York State Championships, many section 6 championships, and top 10 finishes at the New York State High School meet.
