KALISPELL – Authorities are still searching for the person responsible for torching the pole vaulting mat at Glacier High School last month.
The Kalispell Police Department is currently conducting interviews, but say no arrests have been made in the case.
School surveillance caught an unknown person on camera around the time of the fire, but the image was too dark to identify who it was.
More than $40,000 worth of damage was done to the mat, and a handful of track and field athletes had to practice at a new venue for the rest of their season.
Anyone with information in the case is asked to contact the Kalispell Police Department at (406) 758.7780, or Crimestoppers at (406) 752.8477.
