Kostas Filippidis, the Gold medalist at the 2014 World Indoor Championships, has filed for compensation of 530,000 euros from the administrators of the Athens Olympic Stadium (OAKA).
Filippidis claims that he sustained an injury that kept out of competitive sport during training at the premises of OAKA.
His injury has kept him out of lucrative international pole vault events and he also claims that he had to pay in advance air tickets and accommodation for both himself and his coach.
He says that he had repeatedly asked the administrators to repair the training ground but no action was taken.
