Sandi Morris successfully defended her world indoor title Saturday at the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Belgrade, Serbia.
Morris, who grew up in Greenville and is a graduate of Greenville High School, cleared a height of 4.80 meters (15 feet, 9 inches) to outdistance fellow U.S. teammate Katie Nageotte, who cleared 4.75 meters.
