The Danbury High School boys indoor track and field team won the North Shore High School Invitational at the Armory in New York City on Tuesday with 63.5 points. There were plenty of impressive performances by the Hatters, and by athletes from several other local schools represented at the meet.
Danbury’s Dan Nichols won the boys 3,200 meters with a time of 9:41.60. Immaculate’s Connor McNerney finished fifth (9:56.55) and New Fairfield’s Anthony Golino placed sixth (10:04.16). McNerney also finished eighth (4:39.95) in the boys 1,600.
