Wichita, Kan. – Announced by the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference, Art Hop of McPherson College has been named Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week. He was selected from a pool of nominees by vote of conference Sports Information Directors for his performances during the week of March 29 – April 5.
Hop had his third-straight first place triumph on Thursday night at the Hutch Night Relays as he vaulted 4.70m in the pole vault. This ties a McPherson Personal Record for the junior transfer and is also a “B” qualifying standard for the NAIA Outdoor Championships. This mark keeps him in first place of the KCAC
Bulldog track & field will travel to Wichita, Kansas for the KT Woodman Classic this weekend for their next meet.
