Jacob Blankenship proves that this sites are  set for flying high this season. This vaulter’s timely breakthrough last year began with 17-0 at D1 state, beating standout senior twins Joey and Chris Uhle during a watershed year for the event in Ohio. If that was not enough, then he went to another meet with eight 17-foot vaulters were assembled and came out on top with PR 17-0.25.  This easily qualified for the U.S. team that competed at the World Youth Champs and earned the bronze in France with 16-6.75.  Jacob Blankenship is just gearing up for season now and cleared 17’6.5 for a successful events full of pole vault enthusiast.
