Promising Athletics Wollongong pole vaulter James Gorham has continued his rise through the ranks after claiming the NSW All Schools title at Homebush.
Gorham improved on his runner-up placing last year by taking out the 14 Years Pole Vault title last weekend.
Gorham vaulted 3.10 metres, a 70cm better vault than his 2015 effort.
His vault was matched by an ACT competitor but Gorham was the top NSW athlete with the NSW All Schools competition open to both Independent and Public School students.
