FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Kansas track & field picked up two wins at the Arkansas Qualifier at Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas on Friday. Along with the two wins, the Jayhawks recorded 10 personal-bests at the meet.
 
The first win of the day came from senior pole vaulter Alexis Romero. The Reno, Nevada native won the women’s vault with a clearance of 4.08 meters (13-4.5 ft.). Romero attempted at a personal best height of 4.22 meters (13-10 ft.) but was unable to make the bar. The clearance is a season-best for Romero and ranks her 10th in the Big 12 this season
