Thousands of fans gathered at Roberts Wesleyan College to watch 2012 Olympic pole vaulting gold medalist Jenn Suhr.
As a part of her world pole vaulting tour, Suhr competed against local athletes at her Alma Mater Friday night.
She will be finishing off her competitive tour with one final performance at the Buffalo Bills game Sunday against the New England Patriots.
“I’m going to shut it down for the season, it’s been a long season…so you know to come out here and still jump and be on top and try those heights is phenomenal, it’s very exciting to set me up for indoor,” Suhr said.
Suhr currently holds the world record for highest jump at 16 feet six inches.
