Olympic gold medalist Jenn Suhr of Riga finished second in the pole vault at the IAAF Diamond League meet in Lausanne, Switzerland on Thursday with a jump of 4.82 meters.
Suhr, 36, tied with two other jumpers at the same height. Katerina Stefanidi (Greece), the 2016 Olympics gold medal winner, and Suhr each cleared the 4.82-meter bar on the second jump but Stefanidi was named the winner by count back having cleared the 4.72-meter bar without a miss. Suhr missed her on her first attempt from 4.72 meters and cleared it on her second try.
