Schools are still shut down, and the hysteria over the virus is well past it’s potential threat to Americans. People are out, shops are open, and school sporting events are not. Maybe July will bring more great news and give people the ability to stretch their legs a bit.
On the cover, we have Sidorova Anzhelika, and after her crazy performance at the World Indoor Championships, we thought we should take the time and showcase her abilities. Great to finally reach out, and get the behind the scenes story about this high-level elite athlete.
Slow Return to Competition by Kreager Taber. Vaulting is starting to come around for the world. “The meet organizers plan to announce competitions’ layouts two months in advance to give athletes an appropriate amount of time to prepare themselves mentally for the alterations. This will be great to see and look forward to seeing it prosper.
A fun read this month by John Clark and his Master’s followers. Many are in bands and play instruments. It was great to see the different aspects of what they have to offer. Good job, John, many will find this to be quite entertaining.
Also, this month we have the Vaulter Magazine Big Red Barn Meet in Menifee, California. Sixty-seven competitors and well over 90 spectators will come and take part in this event. Next month we will celebrate our independence and have some pole vault meets as well. We will keep you posted with all of our events.
