LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Kansas track & field men’s team was ranked No. 11 in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association week one national rating index, released by the organization on Tuesday. The Kansas women’s team came in at No. 29 in the week one rankings.
Over the weekend, three Kansas pole vaulters moved up the KU track all-time lists at the National Pole Vault Summit in Reno, Nevada. Junior Andrea Willis clearing the No. 6 height in women’s program history (4.35m/14-3.25 ft.) to become the No. 3 all-time performer at KU in the event and freshman Zach Bradford and sophomore Kyle Rogers moved up the men’s all-time charts into a tie as the No. 7 performer in program history, each clearing 5.50 meters (18-0.5 ft.).
