Karnopp Takes 10th in Pole Vault at NCAA Indoor Championships

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Moravian College senior Ryan Karnopp placed 10th in the pole vault at the 2015 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field National Championships hosted by Roanoke College and the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on Friday.

Karnopp cleared a top height of 4.80 meters (15-9) in the meet. He passed at the opening height of 4.50 meters (14-9) before entering at 4.65 meters (15-3) and clearing the bar.

Karnopp entered the NCAA competition with a school and Landmark Conference height of 5.05 meters (16-6.75) back in February.

The Greyhounds have completed their indoor season, and Moravian will begin its outdoor season on Saturday, March 28 at the Lafayette College 7-Way Meet in Easton.
