Langley High School junior pole vaulter Hannah Richardson continued her domination of the girls event by winning the Virginia High School League’s Class 6 state championship in Hampton. Her winning jump was 11 feet.

The VHSL state title was the second for Richardson, who won the outdoor state crown this past June. Overall, Richardson has won a combined eight district, region and state championships in her career at Langley. She won indoor district and region crowns earlier this winter.

Her personal-best highest jump in any of those meets is 11-feet, 6-inches.
