Leaping Lobo: McClellan eyes school pole vault record

Sean McClellan has come a long way since his freshman year.

The District 14-5A champion in the pole vault wasn’t always destined for greatness on the track, as he lacked the strength and size to compete at a high level.

Entering high school, the Little Elm senior was 6 inches shorter and over 30 pounds lighter than where he stands today at 6-foot-2, 170 pounds, and it has shown in his stellar performances on the track over the last few years.
