LITTLE ROCK — Charles Lemley became the third Russellville native to be inducted into the Arkansas Track and Field Hall of Fame during a June 2 banquet at the Wyndham Riverfront Hotel.
“I’ve been associated with track my whole life,” Lemley said. “I was introduced as a sixth grader by the principal of the elementary school. I’ve always loved track, and I had a little success at it. It just means a lot to be inducted into something like that.”
Russellville’s other two members of the Arkansas Track and Field Hall of Fame are Paul White and John Felter.
